Thomas Messenger greenhouse glazing system
The Messenger greenhouse, inspired by the renowned Victorian engineer Thomas Messenger, was developed in response to the demand for an authentic replica of a traditional timber glasshouse. While embracing modern materials and technology for enhanced structural integrity and longevity, we collaborated closely with conservation teams to create a stunning and durable aluminum alternative suitable for a wide range of sensitive locations.
Featuring a slightly larger profile compared to our Traditional and National Trust structures, the Messenger greenhouse maintains historic Victorian design aesthetics. Its nuts and bolts are hidden or ‘capped,’ preserving a wooden aesthetic both internally and externally. Moreover, it provides the finest growing environment naturally.
Messenger greenhouse glazing features
- All internal nuts and bolts are concealed.
- Ideal for creating exact replicas in highly sensitive sites.
- Made from low-maintenance aluminium, which is 100% recyclable.
- All our greenhouses are powder-coated in a colour of your choice.
- Fitted with 4mm Toughened Safety Glass.
- All our structures, whether free-standing or lean-to, include automatic roof vents and manual side vents.
